Supportive Transitional Living in Recovery (STLR)

Phoenix Centre, in partnership with Canadian Mental Health Association (Kamloops Branch) provides supportive recovery beds for adults at two locations - one at Emerald Centre on West Victoria Street and the second, a residential setting in downtown Kamloops . This program supports adults (19 years or older) who have successfully completed the detox portion of their recovery process and are continuing with outpatient programming with Interior Health Mental Health and Substance Use Services and potentially other services in community (i.e. employment programs, doctor appointments, Alcoholics & Narcotics Anonymous meetings, and health focused activities) in the interest of maintaining their recovery.

Clients must be capable of a high level of self-care, suited to a communal living environment, living a life of abstinence, able to regulate themselves emotionally; and willing to participate in programming as it relates to their individualized treatment plan; and life skills programming. Clients will be from the Kamloops community who do not have stable shelter or clients from outside the community who do not have access to appropriate outpatient services in their home community. Call 250-374-4634 for more information or email ksad@phoenixcentre.org
