Nurses, RN or RPN Our 24 hour Residential Detoxification Unit requires a casual and full time nurses to provide a wide range of services in a Detox Unit including: Required to provide a wide range of nursing functions in the Residential Detox Unit, including all aspects of client care such as admissions, nursing assessments, treatment planning, discharges and medication administration. The Nurse will participate as a team member providing an essential support for Detox Workers, physicians and other staff. Level one first aid (WCB required), knowledge of alcohol and drug abuse, including withdrawal management would be an asset. These are 12 hour shifts. Collective Agreement is BCNU. Youth Counsellor - Temporary Part-Time (to fill a maternity leave vacancy) We require a Counsellor to work in our Raven Youth Program. This position is 4 days per week (28.8 hours) and commences on August 5th, 2008 for approximately one year or until encumbent returns. You must have a BSW or a University degree in Social Services. This position is in the Health Science Professionals Bargaining Association and the classification and salary grid is, Counsellor, level 8. This posting closes on July 11, 2008.
